Throughout June, Wingate Elementary School provided individualized instruction in math, reading and science during the 2024 Bear Cub Academy. Students participated in sewing, arts/music, technology and gardening. They learned many skills, including playing the piano, sewing patterns into paper holders, making traditional tea, thread needles, and planting seeds. Field trips also served as fun educational opportunities.
